Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to launch June 8th for $499 and up

The big news has announced by Samsung about the availability and pricing of Samsung Tab 10.1. The company’s first Android tablet 10.1 inches will launch on June 8th. Samsung unveils the same model with two different storage capacities; for a Wifi-only model with 16GB is for $499 and model with 32GB will $599.

Samsung unveils a new tablet 8.9 inches that will launch later on this summer and the price will be $469.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with the extraordinary features list such as it has 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 with dual core processor, 10.1 inches display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolutions and Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system. It will become the first smart device that introduces with TouchWiz 4.0. Samsung has the custom software that runs on top of Android is offering additional features which have a social hub that gather the latest information from the user’s email, messages and social application.

It also comes with the Live Panel that can constantly update information, for instance, email, messages, news, calendar and other applications’ data on your tablet’s home screen. The TouchWiz 4.0 software will not available at the time of launching but will come in your tab 10.1 as a future upgrade. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has front and back rear cameras with WIFI, 3G and 4G supported.

The price of Tab 10.1 is very competitive as Apple iPad 2 has the starting price of $499 and the Motorola XOOM Tablet that has resemblance with Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the same price of $599 and more.
